Teachers:
The Learning Safari is owned and operated by two highly motivated,
dedicated and qualified teachers. Both teachers possess a genuine
love of children and will lead the children through fun and exciting
"learn through play" experiences.
Terri Raymond, B.Ed.
Mrs. Raymond is an experienced teacher with a Bachelor of Education
degree from the University of Alberta specializing in early
childhood development. Prior to opening the Learning Safari, Mrs. Raymond
taught with Edmonton Catholic Schools for ten years. She spent her first years
teaching kindergarten and grade three and taught grade one for several years. Through her teaching career, Mrs. Raymond
has received many accolades for her dedication, creativity and
teaching skills. Mrs. Raymond's early childhood education
experiences will be an asset in helping to plan for your child's
developmental and educational goals.
Andrea Boyle, B.Ed.,
B.Comm.
Mrs. Boyle is also an experienced teacher with both a Bachelor of
Education and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of
Alberta. Prior to opening the Learning Safari, Mrs. Boyle taught for 6 years. She taught
grade two in Red Deer for her first year of teaching and then moved
back to the Edmonton area and taught special education in the
St. Albert Catholic School District. Mrs. Boyle's
experience with special needs students has helped her develop
planning skills necessary to help make all students successful.
